The Hunger Game (2024)
This series originates from a dream I had ,
in which I envisioned a tale concerning theinterplay between capital and human nature.
The story unfolds within an esports arena,
where players are utterly absorbed in competitive gaming.
They strive with every ounceof effort to secure victory and satisfy their desires,
yet remain oblivious t o the fact that they are merely pawns in the hands of capitalists.
Behind the scenes of esports lies thesurveillance and manipulation of capitalists,
transforming the players into sacrificialofferings.
Players defeated in the game were transformed into 'head cakes,'
served uponthe capitalists' tables.
Even those fortunate enough to win could not escape thecapitalists' grasp.
In this project, I attempted to present the complete narrative through collage,
selectingelements such as damage and bloodstains to convey
the cold indifference of capital andthe players' helpless struggle,
translating these themes into design.
